Shirley,Carol,Judy,Kevin and Alex travelled by train to Beaufort ,where we met up with Chris.We had the company of one of the locals ,Ken who was riding his home made electric bike.He told us of the many rides around Beaufort. He was interested in some of our rides as he knows one or two of our riders. We made our way to Learmonth for lunch and a cup of coffee.Carol had a baby sitting job lined up so she stayed in Learmonth where she would be picked up.  Shirley had a puncture,but with many hands (maybe too many as we had to do it twice) it was repaired.The high pressure cylinders make it easy to inflate the tires,saving a lot of effort in pumping.Back along Blind Creek Rd.we started to go our separate ways Chris left off first ,then Judy and Kevin went along the rail trail and Shirley and Alex back to the station. It was a very enjoyable day with no wind and mostly sunny,but the flys gave us hell .Thank you Carol for the fly repellant .This ride was about sixty Kls . It can be a  lot shorter depending on which way you go.
