Four riders Alma , Alan, Alex and Ross made their way to Geelong for the monthly ride. The weather was not the best but we rode along the Barwon River in a clockwise direction.Which was a good idea as we were protected from the wind.Buckley Falls had quite a bit of water running over it.This is a very good ride as there is no traffic to contend with.A small shower of rain on the return to the cars which were parked in the usual place opposite the Caravan park with lunch and coffee at the shop. For the technically minded,we did 20.8kls. at an average speed of 15.8kph. Our top was was 35kls. Arriving in Geelong at 10 am we were finished riding by 12 noon .Back in Ballarat by 2 pm .A good quiet Friday morning ride. The Geelong road is looking really good now.
